What role mythology plays in our life?

You may have thought about whimsical things in our life and also question the ways of the world. Why is darkness called as 'night' and sunshine referred as 'day' ? Why is the sky and land separate?  Why people worship? Who is the ultimate expert in every field on this world? It is not the truth that everything has an answer, and that's where mystery forms. Mythology stories are the stories of the almighty, the one we worship, which may or may not be true, but is definitely an inspiration to everyone. 
            

             
                You have maybe been told about Gods and them being perfect. But, are they perfect?  The mythological stories do not convey such messages, but instead, tell us about how even Gods themselves make mistakes, and instead of crying over spilled milk, they rectify it. That's what makes them superior to us. Also, One must have experienced having weird yet legit thoughts in their minds. Mythology, somehow, in a beautiful way, answers our questions and doubts. Do you know what is an Atlas?  You may say that it is a book of maps of the world, well that is correct, but have you wondered from where did this name come? Atlas was the name of a greek/titan God who is said to have been separating the sky from the earth!  Interesting!  Isn't it? 




             Just like the previous story of Atlas there are innumerable mythological stories ,which give you a different outlook and perspective in life. Seeing things beyond their meanings and worth is a wonderful talent. Mythology is not only the story of the God, but it is also the story of hope, love, happiness and faith

Seasonal patriotism

It seems to be a controversial issue as to how different people celebrate patriotism. Some Indians celebrate it by putting up statuses and dps, reminding others about the greatness of our country, while some celebrate it by vowing for a better India for our fellow citizens. However, there is one common thing between the different kinds of patriots, the 'seasonal' love we bear for our country.
